Raven Huang

Raven is a dedicated violist with a passion for performing contemporary classical, chamber pop, rock, and folk music. In addition to the viola, Raven also teaches violin, ukulele, and piano. Raven performs with the Chicago Composers Orchestra and the South Loop Symphony Orchestra. Raven’s artistry is focused on writing and performing new music, of any genre that uplifts living composers and local communities.

Raven believes that music education extends beyond learning an instrument; it’s about learning how to use music as a tool to connect with other people and with the world around us. Raven’s mission is to instill compassion and a lifelong love for the arts in their students, inspired by their rich experiences growing up in Chicago’s Chinatown neighborhood and their appreciation for the city’s diverse music scene!
